Boiler Repairs & Breakdown

When your boiler breaks down, for your safety and peace of mind, have it repaired by an accreditied professional. We repair all makes and models of boilers and aim for a first visit repair.

Gas Safety Inspection Reports

Safety checks and any work on gas appliances etc. including servicing, repairs and maintenance may only be carried out by a business that is registered with Gas Safe and CORGI (Council for Registered Gas Installers).

For property buyers

A full test of the gas supply & gas appliances within a property. Usually instructed by the Building surveyor or purchaser. On completion a certificate will be issued.

For Landlords and Property Management Agents

Under the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1994 landlords have a legal responsibility to ensure that all gas appliances, including flues, and pipework within a property to be used as rented accommodation are maintained in a safe condition.

You must also ensure that each appliance and flue is checked for safety at last once a year and give your tenants a copy of the certificate of the safety check within 28 days of it being done.

You should have also shown a copy of this to tenants at the time of signing the tenancy contract.

If this is not the case, contact CWL immediately to arrange a Gas Safety Check.

This consists of a full test of the gas supply & gas appliances within a property to be used as rented accommodation. On completion a certificate will be issued.

For Students and Tenants

Under the Gas Safety (Installation & Use) Regulations 1994 your landlord has a legal responsibility to ensure that all gas appliances, including flues, and pipework owned by them are maintained in a safe condition.

They must also ensure that each appliance and flue is checked for safety at last once a year and give you, the tenant, a copy of the certificate of the safety check within 28 days of it being done.

Your landlord should have shown you a copy of this at the time of signing your contract.

If this is not the case, contact your landlord immediately and demand a Gas Safety Check.

This consists of a full test of the gas supply & gas appliances within your rented accommodation will be carried out. On completion a certificate will be issued.
